The institution was initially started in the year 1997 under DWCRA Scheme in Senkanangkollai village. There WSHGs and children groups were started. It has been maintaining more than 1000 SHG in Rishivandiyam and Tirukovilur block. It has facilitated to get number of revolving loan fund.
The Women self Help Group Program comes under the support of ICICI Bank, Chennai intervention.
Our Society had helped to the WSHGs to get loan from ICICI Bank. It included the WSHGs of Villupuram, Kallakurichi, Tiruvannamalai and Cuddalore district. Since 2014, our society is servicing to the WSHGs by providing loan through ICICI bank.
In Kallakurichi District, 659 WSHGs were functioning in 223 Villages of 4 blocks (Tirukoilur, Kallakurichi, Sankarapuram & Ulundurpet). They were provided with ICICI loan amount Rs.470,999,659/- ( Forty Seven Crore Nine Lakh Ninety Nine Thousand Six Hundred Fifty Nine). 7020 members of 659 WSHGs were benefitted.
In Villupuram District, 394 WSHGs were functioning in 100 Villages of 4 blocks (Mugaiyur, Tv Nallur, Vanur & villupuram). They were provided with ICICI loan amount Rs.329,642,273/- ( Thirty Two Crore Ninety Six Lakh Forty Two Thousand Two Hundred Seventy Three). 4728 members of 394 WSHGs were benefitted.
In Tiruvannamalai District, 6 WSHGs were functioning in 3 Villages. They were provided with ICICI loan amount Rs.2,399,000/- (Twenty Three Lakh Ninety Nine Thousand).72 members of 6 WSHGs were benefitted.
In Cuddalore District, 32 WSHGs were functioning in 11 Villages. They were provided with ICICI loan amount Rs.13,256,000/- (One Crore Thirty Two lakh Fifty Six Thousand). 384 members of 32 WSHGs were benefitted.
As per march 2021 report, we covered totally 1091 WSHGs which are functioning in 337 villages of Kallakurichi, Villupuram, TV malai and Cuddalore district. To The above mentioned WSHGs, Rs. 816,296,932/- (Eighty One Crore Sixty Two Lakh Ninety Six Thousand Nine Hundred Thirty Two only) were provided as loan through ICICI Bank from February 2014 to till March 2021. As a total, 12204 women members of 1091 WSHGs were benefitted.
In the year 2021, 1056 members of 88 WSHGs are provided with ICICI loan Rs.50,399,086 /- (crores) in Kallakurichi and Villupuram District. Totally till now Rs. 816,296,932/- (crores) was provided as a loan from ICICI Bank through ATSSS.
