The institution was initially started in the year 1997 under TOKRA Scheme in Senkanangkollai village. It had conducted several programs, trainings and awareness campaign and rallies.

It has been maintaining more than 1000 SHG in Rishivandiyam and Tirukovilur block. It has facilitated to get number of revolving loan fund. It has implemented lot of welfare schemes to the poor people through the use of dump the year 2000.
With this Scheme the institution helped to get micro credit for the SHG for the below mentioned aspects:
Micro credit and seed money support
bank loan to start small vending
• Micro-credit for promote kitchen garden.
• Loan to goat, cow, poultry rearing.
• To manufacture alablack stone
• To promote vermin compost
• Loan on subsidy for independent income earning opportunities.
• Development of mulberry & silk worm
Awareness programs and rallies are conducted to eradicate the ignorance of the people by using the members of the SHG.

4. Environment cleanliness and sanitation,
5. Fights up Leprosy , extended Rehabitation
6. Awareness to the gypsy and migrant people
7. Awareness to eradicate child labour as grass route level
8. Trans people Development and Housing support were provided to them by the institution
9. Awareness about TB and assisting Polio vaccine drive
For these things awareness was given through drama, song, dance and stories.
The institution has got ‘ONE TIME GRAND’ from Government of Tamil Nadu Social Welfare Department. This grand was given as a scholarship to the destitute widows and those who left alone by the husbands.
During the year 2001-2002 free Tailoring course was provided to the members of the SHG under the SGSY Scheme.
EDP training and Awareness rally was conducted

In the year 1998-1999 toilet was built and provided to each and every village under the Complete Sanitary Scheme.
In the year 2001-2002 it has conducted Ramasami Iyer foundation Chennai environment awareness camp, Awareness to save forest, Awareness to plant tree in the road side.
In the year 2001 world women day was celebrated and rally was conducted to eradicate alcohol consuming.
1715 women were given Vocational training under SGSY Scheme.
On 30th September 2011, society building maintenance work was done.
On 11th August 2002, 30 lakhs debts were given to the SHG to start self business by the District Collector Mr. Mugamathu Aslam.
2006-2011 Golden festival of Village Self Employment Scheme and Our Village Scheme.
On 31st January 2006, Debts was given by the New Delhi Rashtriya Mahila Ghosh.
On 8th April 2007, Yoga and Naturopathy Training was given.
On 24th June 2007, rally was conducted to create awareness about the Chicken box disease
ASCAD camp was conducted.
